Luxan Tomorin Grain is a very attractive bait against house mice that should only be used in enclosed buildings, such as houses or sheds. The drug works quickly and usually a single consumption is sufficient for killing. The bait, consisting of oat grains, is packed in bags of 10 grams. The number of bags (1 to 2) per bait box should be adjusted to the size of the pest. The number of bait points depends on the size of the mouse population. Tomorin Grain is based on alphachloralose. This active substance does not have a blood-thinning effect like traditional mouse remedies, but acts as an 'anaesthetic'. However, the dose for a single shot is so high that the mouse does not survive and therefore quietly 'falls asleep'. The action is very fast, which is why dead mice can often be found in the immediate vicinity of the feeding box.
