What is a globular cactus?
The globular cactus is a beautiful sight with its playful, round shape and striking spines. It isn't a specific species, but rather a growth form found in several cacti, often in desert-like regions. As you can see in the photo, it comes in all kinds of varieties – from cacti with a downy white covering to specimens with sharp yellow or reddish spines. They're compact and rugged and instantly add atmosphere.
Easy houseplants
These globular cacti are very easy houseplants, perfect for anyone who wants greenery at home without the fuss. The secret? They actually prefer very little water! You only need to water them occasionally – too much water is even harmful. These plants are used to dry conditions, so they can take a few knocks. Even if you forget about them once in a while, they'll stay beautiful and healthy. Ideal for busy households, offices, restaurants or as a gift for people without green fingers!
