A briquette is usually a pressed solid fuel in the shape of a small brick. It usually refers to a brown coal briquette, also called a "slof" (brown coal briquette). A brown coal briquette is made from pressed brown coal. Besides brown coal briquettes, there are also hard coal briquettes and charcoal briquettes.
